Job Description: POSITION: HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR SKILL REQUIREMENTS: – Experience operating front end loaders an asset – Heavy equipment knowledge – Must be able to efficiently and safely operate heavy machinery – Must be able to follow directions in a busy environment – Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures – Problem solving and decision making skills – Ability to read, write and maintain daily records – Effectively communicate with co-workers and manager – Be honest, reliable, hardworking, co-operative and safety conscious – Forklift experience an asset JOB DESCRIPTION: – Operate front end loader and screening plant processing for our different types of soil – Work as a team while filling our 1 yard tote bags with our production crew – Report and incidents or Health and Safety related issues to the manager – Co-ordinate and organize daily work schedule with manager – Ensure open communication with manager towards setting daily and weekly goals to be completed – Responsible for the daily safety and maintenance checks, including daily lubrication of all equipment – Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all applicable legislation, policies and procedures – Responsible for the maintenance of equipment, and advise mechanics of any defects or maintenance issues involving the equipment – Ensure equipment is kept clean – Other duties to be assigned as needed EMPLOYMENT TERMS: – Full-time seasonal available (April-November) – Saturday mornings required until June – First aid training and company uniform provided WAGE: – Starting at $22.00/Hour (depending on experience) HOW TO APPLY: Please send resume by email to: russ@zandersod.com Or call: 905-727-2100 ext.
