Job Description: We’re hiring AZ Tanker Truck Drivers on behalf of one of Ottawa’s best kept family run tanker businesses. You will be working with a company that has been in business for 40 years and takes pride in their approach to safety within the workplace. This role will be delivering fuel within the Ottawa and surrounding areas! This is a physical position, with the ability for stability and growth within the company. Job Details: Hours: Day: 3am to 3pm Night: 3pm to 3am Shift: 4 days per week, must be available every other weekend Training: $24/hr After training: based on fuel deliveries -averaging $275-$325/day Location: Ottawa East Job Details: • Local deliveries only at a rate of 4 to 5 trips per shift. • Driving an automatic or manual truck with a 4-axle or two-train tank • Properly complete all forms and documents required for clients and allocation • Check the capacity of customers’ tanks. Deliver products to the customer according to schedule and itinerary and in accordance with the procedures provided for each customer as well as station plans • Professional qualifications: experience in transporting hazardous materials and/or transporting by tank an asset Requirements: • Minimum experience: 3 years of verifiable AZ Driving experience • Language: French and/or English • Education level: DEP in transport or RAC (recognition of achievements) • License: Valid AZ/ Class 1 License • CVOR and Abstract printed within 30days • Criminal record check may be required as part of the onboarding process • Working Conditions: outdoors during loadings and deliveries What we Offer: • Workwear provided • Paid training at hiring • Year-round work • Paid Weekly • Vacation pay accrual • Overtime paid on 5th day of work • Apply Today! #drivers
