Job Description: Working as a Full-Time Driver (DOT – CDL) – Class AZ, you will be representing our fleet as you deliver from Distribution Centres to branches and customers. You will operate a safe, well-maintained and late model tractor trailer or straight truck. Delivery trucks are pre-loaded by warehouse employees prior to departure and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops. Since routes are pre-planned, you’ll know your schedule weeks in advance. You will cross international and provincial borders while driving. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner o Interacting with our shipping and receiving departments o Maintaining a clean work environment within our equipment

Average Pay: $70,000 to $90,000 salary

Submission Requirements: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: Excellent written and oral communication skills, Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Class AZ Commercial Driver’s License, Possess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one, Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one, Meet Fastenal driving record requirements, Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT/MTO regulations in regards to a CDL Driver, Maintain DOT/MTO regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service.
Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines, Willingness to cross international and provincial borders, Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork, Lift up to 70 lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs
Successfully complete the required DOT/MTO drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check PREFERRED POSITION
QUALIFICATIONS: Prior driving work experience, Prior experience operating a forklift
